BRAND NEW SWIM FLOAT: COMPLETE

Update: Swim Float Completed!!! 🔥

Don’t mind the extra boards on top, but super stoked to get this completed. Once our tug Mackenzie Prince is back home at the site we’ll push this up river to Wapato Moorage on the Multnomah Channel!

Customizations:

☑️ 3 foot corner extension for the hull of his Boat to aid in tying up and stepping on off his Boat.
☑️ 10 foot Vertical Pole to Tie his light up at that run from his main floating home across the top of the swim float.
☑️ 8 foot removable pole extending to tie his floaties up to.
☑️ 10 foot step in the middle of the river side of the swim float with 45 degree corners! Clean!

🌊 Current Floating Home Market 🌊 – 60 Active Floating Homes on the Market at the moment with a median price of $425,650! 🏘️

✋🏼There are currently 5 floating homes pending sale and these are them with price and Moorage:

Macadam Bay Moorage – 679K

Tomahawk Island Marina – 525K

Jantzen Beach (JBMI) – 409K

Blue Frog – 340K

Jantzen Bay – 115K

So, the Median Price of Pending Floating Home Sales – 414K. 4 of 5 of the pending floating homes are off of Marine Drive.

⬆️ The highest priced floating home on the market is the Matanky House at Class Habor Moorage built by us at Even Construction currently listed for $1,850,000.
⬇️ The lowest being a Barge Float style small floating home listed for $55,000 at Sigler Cover Marina.

Home Inspections.. Such a simple concept yet so important, may be the most important part of the home buying process!!!

There is NO PERFECT HOME, even a brand new house. Make sure you are covering all your bases and doing your due diligence as this will be one of your major decisions in life!!! Do it right the first time!

Find a home inspector that knows what they are doing and spend the money, if it turns out terrible you just saved your self hundreds of thousands of dollars compared to the one thousand you spent on the inspection!

Ever dreamt of moving your home down the river to remodel? This is the incredible world of floating homes that not only offers a dynamic living space but also the unique ability to relocate anytime.. Whether it’s a fresh look or a fresh location, these homes are redefining ‘moving house’.

📅 In Early January we brought this home down from Channel Island Marina. A home my dad and our company, Even Construction, had built in 1998!! The float was still good and it’s built well as all our homes are but it was a little outdated so the owners decided to gut it and remodel the whole interior, which then turned into a complete remodel with new siding and a new roof!
